It started with Mama Le — and a first-ever event for 200 guests in 2016. We never looked back.
What began as a family that loved to feed people grew into one of Sydney's go-to caterers for corporate events, private celebrations and weddings. The recipes, the warmth and the care have been there from day one.
She's always been the feeder at every family event — the one making sure no one ever leaves hungry. That love of feeding people is the heart of Rice Pantry.
Mama Le has always had a passion for food. Her late father was a cook on the US Navy ships, making meals for hundreds of people on the regular — so it's fair to say it runs in the family.
Our menus are built around the dishes people can't stop talking about — rice paper rolls, steamed bao, Vietnamese fried chicken, banh mi, sugarcane prawn skewers and grazing spreads that look as good as they taste. Everything is made fresh, in generous portions, so there's always plenty to go around.
Rice Pantry is family-run to its core, and it shows in every event we cater. Since 2016 we've catered thousands of events across Sydney — from boardroom lunches for teams at Google, Atlassian, Canva and Commonwealth Bank, to weddings, birthdays and milestone celebrations.
In 2024, we were proud to cater at a Sydney event attended by HM King Charles III — a moment we still can't quite believe.
Today, that same care goes into our catering and into Pantori Café & Bakery, our café in Arncliffe. Whether we're delivering office catering to the Sydney CBD, a grazing table to Parramatta, or a wedding banquet on the North Shore, the promise is the same: thoughtful food, beautifully presented, and made with a whole lot of heart.
